The Town of Los Gatos General Plan Update Draft 2020 General Plan and Environmental Impact Report (EIR) are now available for public review for a 45-day period as required by CEQA, starting March 10, 2010 to April 26, 2010.  

The Draft 2020 General Plan is the principal policy and planning document to guide land use and development in Los Gatos.  Incorporating community input from the public, the General Plan Committee (GPC) and the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC), this Plan contains a collection of goals and policies related to all aspects of community life and growth.  The foundation for all land use decisions and Town Council policy direction are established in the General Plan. The Draft 2020 General Plan is available for download below as a complete document (16 MB in size) and as individual chapters.

The associated Draft 2020 General Plan EIR, which is required under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), assesses the potential environmental impacts of implementation of the Draft 2020 General Plan.  The Draft 2020 General Plan EIR is available for download below as a complete document (26 MB in size) and as individual sections.
