Community Workshops
Los Gatos values your input on the future of your community. The Town of Los Gatos will host four community workshops over the next two years as part of the General Plan Update. The four community panel discussions that will address environment and sustainability, parks and recreation, and youth needs and senior needs in Los Gatos. Workshop and panel discussion material will be available here as they are developed before each meeting and all presented materials will be posted after each meeting.
Community Workshop #4
The fourth and final public workshop for the Los Gatos General Plan Update will be held on Wednesday,
The Draft 2020 General Plan and Environmental Impact Report (EIR) are available for public review for 45 days as required by State law, from March 10, 2010 to April 26, 2010.
This community workshop is intended to give the community an opportunity to review and provide feedback on the Draft 2020 General Plan. Links to Community Workshop #4 materials will be provided below as they become available.

Community Workshop #3
The third public workshop will be held on Saturday,
This community workshop is intended to give the community a voice in the policy development for the four Focus Areas of the General Plan Update. We will review what has been learned in the process to date and identify specific policy directions that are important to the future of the community. This workshop will include an interactive preference survey exercise and discussion that will allow you to help shape the development of different policy alternatives and understand how the policy alternatives may affect the Town.

Community Workshop #2
The second public workshop will be held on Saturday,
The workshop begin with an open house where participants will be able to visit stations that present key information from the Background Report. This will be followed by aarge group discussion during which people can ask questions or make comments on the Background Report.
Next participants will be asked to help with the Focus Areas Refinement. This will be based on input received during he first Community Workshop for the focus areas of Parks & Recreation, Youths, Seniors, and Sustainability.
Please note that this meet will be also serves as the official CEQA required EIR Scoping Session for the Los Gatos General Plan Update process.
Community Workshop #1
The first public workshop will be held Saturday, November 1, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Fisher Middle School, 17000 Roberts Rd, multi-purpose room. Please attend the workshop for more information on community participation and the General Plan Update.
